The RelateSkills™ Self-Awareness Module is a sequenced curriculum for learners ages 5–16 who are highly verbal but struggle with flexible thinking, social engagement, and independent social-emotional problem solving.
Many learners become stuck in rigid self-talk, internal rules, and comparisons — leading to avoidance, impulsive reactions, and dependence on adult prompting.
This module teaches learners to notice thoughts as thoughts, defuse from rigid thinking, pause before reacting, and pivot toward meaningful social connection.
The curriculum includes 17 structured lessons, pre- and post-assessments, clear behavioral skill definitions, motivational games, narrative activities, role plays, creative projects, and generalization tools.
Two workbooks are included: an Instructor Workbook and a Student Workbook.
Aligned with SEL standards and DSM-5 ASD criteria, RelateSkills combines clinical rigor with engaging, practical instruction.
